We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens, parents, voters from Tustin Memorial Academy (TMA) and the surrounding City of Tustin who urge our leaders to vote and approve for Mrs. Hudson, to allow her to finish her 2015-2016 school term at TMA. Mrs. Hudson has been our Principal for the past 6 years, dedicating herself to our kids every day and making a difference in their lives through her leadership and unwavering commitment to our community. Her contributions alongside, our wonderful teachers have led to the multitude of distinctions and awards for our school. We understand and acknowledge that Mrs. Hudson has been reappointed to another school, so that she may be able to contribute her expertise and gifts to others, however we are simply requesting that the leaders of the Tustin Unified School District (TUSD) allow her to finish her 2015-2016 term, to ensure that our teachers, students and families be able to finish the school year without interruptions, so that we maintain continuity and complete necessary activities and projects in order to meet the performance standards that have been set forth by the district. It is in the best interests of our children and critical to their success that TUSD assure that their learning environment will not be negatively impacted with a mid-year leadership change. We are deeply concerned that a transition will adversely affect the outcomes of our students. Again, we ask for TUSD leadership to partner with parents, teachers and the community of TMA to support and offer this opportunity for Mrs. Hudson to stay until the end of the school year, so she may help to execute school years plans and ensure success, to mutually meet district goals. We also want to promote the highest ethical standards and maintain school morale, our children deserve the opportunity to send end of the year special farewells, as well as for her to do the same. We all want what is best for our children, please support us.

Being a teacher myself for the last 17 years, I know first hand how disruptive taking an administrator away before the end of the school year is. I would hope Tustin Unified understands this and lets her finish the year. Thank you
It would be very disruptive and unfair to the students for Mrs. Hudson to leave before the end of the year. This 5th grade class started kindgergarten when Mrs. Hudson started at TMA, it would be sad for her to have to leave before they end their year.
As a contractor for Federal and local governments, I have seen projects not come to fruition too often due to changes in management. Please maintain some continuity at TMA by allowing Mrs. Hudson to complete her year and lay the groundwork for a proper transition.
My experience and significant research data support the claim that changes in administration can have outsized effects on a school as a whole. For the sake of continuity, please keep our administration as is for the remainder of the school year.
For new kids, like Jack Dufour, having continuity is important. Changing too much too fast is harmful to not just new students, but all students. Please allow Mrs. Hudson to finish out the year with TMA. Thank you.

This being Mrs. Hudson's 6th year, the graduating class of 2016 have been with Mrs. Hudson their entire elementary school experience. She will have to be on stage to shake their hands and move them on to middle school!
