Sarepta Therapeutics has developed an effective cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a deadly debilitating disease that affects 1 in 3,600 boys, resulting in paralysis and death.
Sarepta's drug, Eteplirsen has been proven to successfully treat DMD in a double blind study conducted by the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio:
