Whereas Kathy Zack was a successful and productive member of the Bishop Elementary School and Bishop Unified School Board (BUSDB) for nearly 13 years:

and Whereas Kathy Zack has a wealth of institutional knowledge regarding BUSDB history, functions, procedures, personnel and efficacy;

and Whereas Kathy Zack has had 3 children successfully complete their education at BUSD and continue on successfully to college and career;

and Whereas Kathy Zack herself is a graduate of our local schools, raised here, and is committed to our community;

and Whereas Kathy Zack has extensively involved herself in education as a classroom volunteer aide, History Day judge, board member, school foundation board member and more;

and Whereas Kathy Zack has a proven record of working effectively with teachers, parents, students, fellow board members and superintendent;

and Whereas Kathy Zack is trusted and respected by our teachers, support staff and administrators;

and Whereas Kathy Zack has the best interest of our students as her top priority;

Therefore we the undersigned urge the BUSD Board to appoint Kathy Zack to fill the current vacancy in the BUSD Board.
