Petition to Appoint Herbert Stanley Principal of AHS 2018-2019

I have worked with Mr. Stanley and know he would do a wonderful job!

I think if we got Stanly as the principal itll be a better enviroment for both the faculty and students

He deserves this when I attended school 14 years ago he was there and I felt very comfortable to go to him and I know he puts pride in the things he does and will get the kids to do there best. I hope he gets what he deserves.

He kept AHS running and illustrated a love for the school. He stands out in my memories of AHS and I stand by him completely.

I think Stanley deserves more credit, he’s a good assistant principal at AHS.

Mr Stanley has continually displayed leadership at AHS since 2007 when my first child began attending high school. I wholeheartedly advocate for him to be appointed as AHS's principal for t he 2018-2019 school year.

I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Stanly for two years while I served as Head Football Coach at our beloved Albuquerque High School. The first time I encountered Mr. Stanly I was being given a tour of the campus. I observed Mr. Stanly interacting with every student who past him calling them by first name each and every student and staff as well. The unique thing is not only was he greeting all, he was picking up every single piece of trash and sweeping the halls making sure things keep clean. When I think of a Leader I think of one who is able to relate to the people who follow. One who takes the time out to learn each persons name to show them that you are more than just a number your actually a person that means something to the school. A leader is a person who is willing to get his or her hands dirty to so work that others wouldn’t want to do. The future of Albuquerque High School is solely dependent on APS. Research shows that when a CEO of an organization steps down or retires the organizations who tend to have more success are the ones who promote from within to take over the position. One who already knows the community from which is being served. As a graduate, former teacher, coach, and now administrator I couldn’t think of no other person who is fit for this position other than Mr. Herbert Stanly. He embodies what it means to be a leader

Mr. Stanley has always been a great role model to all the young men and women he has mentored.

He’s a great administrator and cares for all the students he has , he does everything for this school .
