Petition to Appoint Herbert Stanley Principal of AHS 2018-2019

He was one of my mentors as an upperclassman all through high school he was an incredible athlete and a great leader

Mr. Stanley he is a good person to me he knows his stuff inside in out he cares about his students he was specal education Teacher in Albuquerque high school I know him he is so specal to us he is a proud bulldog like us please select him as your new principal for 2018 and2019 he is a great person

As you are adding I would like to deduct one signature to that list. Mr. Stanley as a supervisor to people under him is a bully who wants to treat people like if they are less than him and wants to intimidate them. If you stand up for their rights he will retaliate against you. Take time to ask those who work or have worked under him and if you want your students to be treated that way and learn that it is okay to lessen people because you have the power, push to put him as the example your kid to learn from. Ask to see how many times the union has been at the school for his actions

Mr. Herbert Stanley is a humble man of integrity. I first met him in 1974 when i was a sophomore and he was a senior. Even as a student everyone in the school looked up to him. I dont know if theres a vacancy for principall, but if there is i can think of no one better qualified or respected by his peers or students. He is the perfect example of professionalism and gets along well with alumni, staff, parents and students alike. I would be thrilled to see him as the new principal. No one deserves the job more. Mr. Herbert Stanley has the best qualities of leader. He is a good listener, positive in his approach to dealing with issues. When Martineztown requested help in regards to the flooding from the school Mr. Stanley attended meetings and was their to help. Our children and grandchildren and youth in the neighborhood always speak of Mr. Stanley with total respect and admiration as a leader. Dear APS Board, Do the right thing! Mr Stanley is AHS. He has been coach, friend, administrator and MENTOR to lots of us Bulldogs. Good mentors are hard to find these days, but Mr Stanley is a GREAT mentor. I believe he has stood the test of time as well. He has been with kids from the 1980's until today and still can relate to them without issue. That is not just good, but incredible, especially if you ever had a teenager in your house. And yet Mr Stanley is firm and can handle the more difficult situations with class and respect. He exemplifies what an education facility should provide to the young people of tomorrow who may become the leaders that replace him. He provides a safe harbor for the kids that may not have it at home or in their neighborhood. Mr Stanley is a man of integrity and carries himself as such and should be provided the opportunity to lead the BULLDOGS of today and tomorrow. Mr Stanley is Albuquerque High School. Mr. Stanley has an impeccable, longstanding history with A.H.S.--as a former student, coach and administrator. He has served the community with finesse, skill, compassion,intellect and a multicultural perspective. It should stand to reason that he is more than highly qualified to lead in the principal's role at this point in time. He is truly an outstanding educator who leads with his head--and his heart. He understands Bulldog tradition and innovative educational practices!

I've know Mr. Stanley for over 50 year and he's the epitome of professionalism, ethical, and just an all around honorable man and he has earned the right to be principal.

Mr. Stanley was my football coach and wrestling coach. He made a positive impact in my life when I was growing up.

Mr. Stanley is an awesome person and will make an excellent principal. He has many years of experience and it's about time APS recognizes the skills and expertise this man can bring to Albuquerque High School! I highly recommend Mr. Stanley to become the next Principal, which he so deserves.
