Urge SF Mayor Ed Lee to Appoint Gary Virginia District 8 Supervisor

Gary Virginia is a very qualified person to fill this position now

I served on the Pride Board with Gary. He is principled, but also pragmatic. He is a very hard worker, a thoughtful person and a bright star whose presence on the Board of Supervisors would ensure that the interests of District 8 stakeholders are advocated effectively. (He knows many such stakeholders personally and/or professionally.). Gary's a survivor in every sense of the word. I strongly recommend him for this position.

I own a business in District 8 and I hope Mayor Lee listens to this petition.

I can not think of anyone more perfect to serve on City Council. Gary is one of the most fair, positive, hard working people who has done so much for SF already.

Gary Viginia is the logical and perfect choice for District 8 Supervisor.

I was a SF District 8 resident for decades. I no longer live there, but still fully support this fantastic idea. An emphatic YES! to Gary Virginia being appointed to the SF board of supervisors.

I have known Gary personally and professionally for many years. Few areas committed to doing the hard but good work our community needs. Of course, I think he's nuts to take this on, but I wholeheartedly support him and would do ANYTHING to see such good person represent my community.

I've known Gary for 17 years and have always found him a man of compassion. He leads by example, doing whatever work needs to be done. He would represent all of District 8 by listening and finding common cause.
