It is about time that Apple seriously reconsider the design and safety of their chargers for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod etc.). There have been far too many reported incidents where chargers have suddenly started smoking, caught fire, electrocuted people. The list goes on. It is not safe for people to have an iOS device when the chargers suddenly ignite.
