Appeal To Maintain Existing Boat Slips

This is ridiculous. Diversy harbor and specifically D Dock has been a wonderful place for so many boater including their friends and family. At the heart of this community and experiences are Robin & Mike ! They have been from the beginning and they are still today. It just makes me wonder who is making these decisions? I am also wondering what type of process was used and I perhaps, if we engage formal litigation the right decision made will be made to reinstate Robin & Mike. I know many people would be happy to support that!

Bring them back to D dock!

D59 This is beyond silly and wrong. Not only are The Rileys and Mike/Robin NOT a problem on the dock, they are a major reason why many of us enjoy being at the dock. Our slips are not just a place to park our boats in the summer. For most of us they are our summer homes. D dock is a community not a dock. This is my 12th year in Diversey and having people like the Riley family and Mike/Robin is a big reason many of us stay. They are great neighbors and good people. Please consider correcting this error and permit them to rejoin our family.

Mike and Robin are generous, helpful and welcoming contributors to the community on d dock.

H 13 We have been friends with Mike,Robin,Kevin&Jessica for a few years now and they are the most friendliest,kindest and generous people that we know.We have been at Diversey for 18 years and we would hate to see them split up. They have a GREAT community of friends on D Dock and we are lucky to call them our friends.

D-Dock slip 33. Having moved over from C dock to D dock many years ago, the best thing about D is the welcoming, friendly atmosphere where everyone is willing to help out their fellow boaters. Mike & Robin and Rileys personify the spirit that makes D-Dock unique and special. They should absolutely be allowed to stay.

Boating will set me free

Hello, My name is Scott Mueller and I currently have a boat on D dock located at D 14 and Robin and Mike are my neighbors on D dock. They have always been respectful, kind and always willing to give you a helping hand. Robin and Mike of the Soggy Dollar are great people. Someone must have the facts confused because they have always treated me and all of my guest unbelievablely well with nothing but respect and kindness. I firmly stand with Mike and Robin and support their reinstatement 100%.

This decision is flat out wrong... both of these boaters are great people! They are in NO way a problem on the dock... Kevin, Jess and kids are all good people! They are fantastic boat neighbors... Mike and Robin are some of the most generous people I've met since my 7+ years on D dock...Moving people off the dock without cause Is flat out wrong... we are a family on D Dock... please put them back on the dock.

Please do not break up the great neighbors on D dock just because one moron is making trouble for all. Mike , Robin and the Riley’s are the real victims here ! Bob Albert

I don’t like it when the powers to be split up a dock community. Everyone on Dock are family.

Mike and Robin and Kevin and Jessica have been amazing dock neighbors for the 7 years I’ve been at Diversey. They are ALWAYS courteous, generous, and very helpful!! They have made my guests and myself feel welcome and inclusive to become part of a great dock community. Whenever I have needed any form of boating assistance, all I would have to do is mention what I may need help with and they would immediately be of assistance. I cannot think of a single time where I saw any of them be anything but a tremendous asset to D Dock and the overall boating community.

This has been our home for 19 seasons we have raised our family in this same slip and have made numerous friends that we call our family.

Slip D32. Mike, Robin, Kevin and Jessica are part of the heart of D dock. Always looking out for their fellow boater, amazing supporters of D dock and best boat neighbors you can find. Like Scott said, I am at a loss how this can even be an issue. They should and need to stay on D dock.

Life’s Too Short - D6 I’m at a loss as to how this is even an issue. I’ve been at Diversey Harbor since 2010, first at A (2 years) with the rest at D. These four boaters are instrumental to the family that is D Dock. There have been endless amounts of good times, laughter, movie nights on Kevin and Jess’s boat and multiple catered dinners served by Mike and Robin. To move these four people that are not only welcomed and wanted by our long standing boat family, but they are equally welcoming to new boaters and guests. I also second the notion that if they are not returned to their slips or other slips at D Dock, that we need to have a meeting (Diversey Yacht club probably makes the most sense?) and discuss this live. I’m curious as to how they were moved, with no investigation, discussion, or due diligence into the matter.

They are the nicest family to have on the dock. It would be sad to see them forced off the dock
