It is a disgrace to see rural customers to get forcefully pressed to buy and pay for expensive solutions that appear to not work at all once installed.

After one week we have reached 234 signatures on our petition to improve the broadband service to the local community. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir. We will give it one more week of gathering signatures before we contact Eircom in an official capacity on behalf of all those who signed and the community at large. In order for this appeal & petition to be taken seriously we need as many signatures as possible. So, please share this post and ask your friends, family members and anyone you know affected by this poor and unacceptable service to sign their name to the petition. Thank you - Go raibh míle maith agaibh

Every rural area of the country is the same. It's a disgrace having to pay large sums of money for a nearly non existant broadband.

Eircom are charging me for a service which is not fit for purpose.
I have reported the speeds as low as 0.06Mbps as a fault. I am yet to receive a response from eircom.
I will now demand a refund for failure to provide an adequate broadband service.

Why do we not have the same rights as those that live in built up areas? Shame in our alleged internet providers.

We live in Ballymakeera and the speed is shocking. I live in an estate with 20 houses and the more people in the estate that are on line slows it down for every one else!!
