There are regulations and rules for a reason, this can be done efficiently and effectively allowing citizens to provide for themselves, especially in times of high financial need whereas the alternative is the poor house.

So disappointed to hear that the town decided not to allow urban chickens at this time. I feel my daughter could learn a great deal from having them in our own backyard, the benefits I believe would far outweigh any negatives.

I’m signing this petition for backyard chickens. I believe it’s benefits outway any negativity. A limited number of hens in a backyard is no different than a neighbor having a dog.
