I am strongly against this development.My bungalow backs onto these buildings and am particularly worried by being on view to people who will be living on top floor of flats.We will be too close to their bins and where cars are parked.I sleep at the back and fear that it will be early a m. and at night.Nice little Colby has already been spoilt .What a shame ! !

I believe colby has become overdeveloped these last 12 months and just about every available piece of land will be built upon totally and completely spoiling the character of what was a delightful and character ful village

I fully support all of the concerns raised in this petition. In addition to this, I take my two children to school in the mornings and pick them up at the bus stop at Ballacubbon every day and am very concerned with the increased amount of traffic with all the new developments in this area. Colby used to be a very peaceful area with an abundance of bird life, and the occasional cuckoos. Please consider all the comments raised in this petition and put a stop to this development.

The original proposal for a total of 14 dwellings on Ballacubbon would have been acceptable but this significant increase in volume and the proposal of two storey apartments is more in keeping with an inner city development not a small, pretty village! Colby simply does not have the infrastructure in place to support such a development on top of all the recent building that has taken place, with the increase in traffic genuinely posing a safety issue for drivers and pedestrians.

We have just had houses built at the back of the Colby Glen when is it all going to stop we don't need any more ,one time Colby was a lovely village with fields and now most of them have gone, what about the wild life or does know one care any more.
