Teachers care for, educate and support families on a daily basis putting them before their own needs. They deserve all our respect and support.

This guy is totally out of touch with what really goes on in our classrooms. My wife is a teacher and she works harder than any politician in Albany ever will. Apologize now.

I stand with the teachers and the unions rights to be be active in their own destiny. They see the outrageous words of the Majority Leader and see he does not stand for all of the hardworking teachers growing our leaders of tomorrow.

Educators are the front line against counter-democratic charlatans like you, Sen. Flanagan. Don't complain about campaign finance when you have more than $1 million in your campaign fund while Kathleen Cleary has less than $30K. Instead of calling teachers evil, perhaps you can stop shilling for charter schools while empowering school shooters and maintaining the test-and-punish agenda. Use public money for public schools; pass the Red Flag law; and pass a bill that permanently decouples test scores from teacher evaluations so kids and hardworking educators can get back to real learning.

Teachers are heros, Senator Flannigan. They go above and beyond for our children on a daily basis. They have the right to protect their own children and families with a strong union. You owe teachers an apology.
