I read the article the paper published. I have no idea how the closing paragraph was related to the news story at hand.

An apology is deserved for everyone that was involved.

not just Justin that deserves an apology but all those who have been drug through the mud by them bringing up off history and distorting facts is completely uncalled for. time to get real reporters in there

I think the median needs to keep their nose out of people's past and not try to dig up garbage.

I know his past is in public records but I do feel that this does not need to be brought up again and again. Just lives with the memories every day. He has to drive by the spot of the first accident almost everyday to get from town to the Farm. And I doesn't just make it hard on our family it makes it hard for Jon's Family and friends that miss him everyday also. I wish the writer would have thought of that also.

The Daily Republic was completely out of line and then to through in the blood alcohol line was out of line also. They could have said if was standard procedure but they didn't. Utterly unprofessional.

Besides bringing up the past accident, it irritated me that they had mention of doing a blood test for blood alcohol levels but didn't say why, like maybe this is protocol for accidents that late and where the driver doesn't remember what happened but no, that would actually reporting instead of just making accusations. The Daily hasn't reported news in years!

He is one of the best people I know and has lived with the guilt of that accident! This really just brings back all of the heartache that his family and Jon Christensen 's family went through! This was extremely uncalled for and the Daily Republic should be ashamed to call themselves a newspaper!!

This is a terribly slanted unfair article about a young man who has worked hard and more then paid the price for his previous actions. To mention it was underhanded, and clearly meant to inflame people.
