I've always wished Wildstorm (DC Comics) would come out with an Apollo/Midnighter comic series, much like the Superman/Batman series. I love them in the Authority, don't get me wrong. I also know there was a Midnighter series (awful in my opinion, since the they all but ignored his sexuality) but I think these characters are much more interesting as a pair rather than solo. I'd love a series dedicated to these two specifically and think it could be amazing if done correctly. It could really explore their dynamic, maybe dig a little deeper into their history and true identities. It could show how they met and became the people they are today and the adventures they shared between the Stormwatch time and Authority. Did they meet prior to becoming post-humans? What did they do before? Were they out and proud gays then too? Or maybe married with kids?
