Apex High School is one of the few high schools in the Raleigh area that does not have a homecoming dance for its students. In years past, Apex has had a dance, but it has recently been done away with. Homecoming dances are significant sources of fundraising for the school, as well as a fun tradition associated with annual homecoming festivities.
