For the following reasons the APA Election of March 2014 should be done over.
1) Candidate bios where censored.
2) The election nomination procedure was not adequately advertized.
3) Valid nominations were denied.
4) One of the candidates, Maury, was allowed to announce the election/his re-election, call members to vote in the election/his re-election, and then announce his re-election, all from his personal email account. This candidate had a distinct disadvantage over all others. No other candidate was allowed to discuss the election with all members using their own personal email account.
5) One of the candidates, Maury, managed the voting software, the mechanism by which votes were gathered and tallied. No other candidate was allowed access to the voting software.

For those reasons this petition has been created.
