Army of Two is region locked, which means you can only play with people in one specific region. Many players have friends in other regions, and are blocked from playing with them. Some of us, like in Japan, have few to no games available, therefore unlocking this disabling feature will help us to actually play online with i.e. players in the US. EA say it is a feature to help prevent lag, but just about every other game on the market does not need such a lock, there are various ways to avoid the problem of lag, and I beleive that region locking is mostly certainly anti-world gaming community. Please sign this petition to let EA know that they are making a big mistake by splitting the community. We simply want to make our own choice as to who can join which server, especially if it is our own.

I have been thinking a lot about the people in Japan who literally cannot find a match because of these arbitrary distance rules. It really makes no sense to punish us for wanting to play with friends across the ocean when the technology to fix lag has been here for years. My inbox has been overflowing with stories from players who just want to join a server without being told they live in the wrong place.

living in Japan is impossible for matchmaking right now. total ghost town servers. let us connect to the US players already! so sick of this region lock garbage.
