I am signing this petition to announce my opposition to the choice of Mitt Romney as the GOP's nominee for president.  This is not a statement of personal opposition to Gov. Romney as a person or as a Republican. This is a statement of opposition to his political policies and posturing--in particular his continuing support for the "RomneyCare" mandated health care system in promoted and signed into law while governor of Massachusetts.  His support for government-mandated insurance, big government spending on health care, and massive government regulation make Mitt Romney an unacceptable choice to run against President Obama in 2012.

Because I believe it is vital to America's future that President Obama serve only one term, and because Mitt Romney's support for his own version of ObamaCare makes him all but unelectable in 2012, I am signing this petition.
