It is stunning to me that this even needs to be said.

Women are adult human females.

Any scientific body defining a scientific category to include an identity is not fit for purpose. Woman is an adult human female, one of two sexes, the other being man, an adult human male.

Protect women's sex-based rights. Sorry boys, but not everyone gets to be a woman. You can nonetheless wear a dress, a wig, a bra, get surgery if you like! Live as you wish, but leave women's rights and spaces alone.

This needs much further discussion.

There is a sinister push in western society to erase women's sex based rights by taking away the words that we use to describe ourselves and our biological reality of being women whilst simultaneously pushing gender identity where any biological male can claim that they are exactly the same as a natal female and trample over these rights. At the same time teenage girls are being encouraged to believe that breast removal and testosterone shots makes you male. This is wrong.

Why are only women being redefined? Why not the definition of men too, if this is about “inclusivity”

Just saying im a woman dont make it so. No way is this kind of thinking what i want my daughter to have to compete and deal with when older. They are trying to erase natural born women

I am not an Australian citizen, so I am unclear what the effect of my signature is, but I am horrified at the scientifically ignorant positions currently driving sporting regulation to the detriment of women’s rights in Australia.
