ANYONE CAN BE A WOMAN ??

Women’s competitions were set up because of the biological reality that women do not have the same physical attributes as biological males - different bone density, muscle and tendon strength, limb length, hand size for example. Why have women’s competitions at all if biological males can compete simply by saying they’re transwomen. This decision is not “progressive”. (And this from sporting bodies that have long pretended gays and lesbians don’t exist in the sporting world). Shame on all signatories to these anti-women changes; vale women’s sport.

It is incredible distressing to see women and girls be treated like an afterthought in their own sport. Why does Australia insist on punishing women and taking so much fought for by women for females? It is NOT a right to steal championships. It is NOT a right to tell biological women that their needs come secondary to males. We stand firm for women and girls and we will not tire until women and girls rights in sports are protected. Biological males are not more important and if they choose to compete it should *always* be in the male category.

Females and intersex females AFAB are a distinct biological group intrinsically tied to the social definition of women and girls. We are NOT a subset of our own sex class requiring a gender prefix. Using the definition of Woman: anyone who identifies as a woman is circular logic.

It’s time to state that biology matters over identity when it comes to sex based sports.

Woman is not a feeling. Being female is a biological reality. There is no such thing as a gendered brain. Men -- however they present themselves or whatever they pretend to be -- are not women.

Disgusting decision! If men who have changed their desire to be men wish to compete, let them compete in a trans only category! Whoever agreed to this is clearly a women hater!!

I support trans and gender-diverse people taking part in sport. However, they should compete in their sex class, or in a third category for trans or non-binary people who choose not to do so. It is not fair to trans men to expect them to compete with biological men; nor is it fair to women to permit men to self-identify into women's sports. I urge you to reconsider this decision in light of the submissions of your petitioners, and support access to sport for women and girls.

Women sportscare for people with female bodies, to create fair and safe competition. It has nothing to with ideas of gender and everything to do with biological facts.

A woman is an adult human FEMALE.

A woman is an adult human female. Men cannot become women and no women have penises.

The answer is simple - no.

Being a woman is more than a feeling! It is part of our genetic code in every cell of our bodies - it is a biological fact.

I’m tired of being a second class citizen!

If science can’t explain what a woman is then how do I, in good conscience, believe what science has to say about anything, maybe climate change is a hoax - their inability to define what a woman is hurts their credibility. Politicians need to respond to those in science who refuse to acknowledge biological sex differences between men and women.

WOMAN = ADULT HUMAN FEMALE. Come Ministers, do your job and represent WOMEN!

We can be inclusive without redefining important language. This undermines women's rights.

It took centuries for women to fight for their own sports leagues away from men. Now they have, with no consultation from us, been stripped away from us by the male decision makers who are greedy for the funding provided by Trans Orgs. I am not standing for it. Women’s and children’s rights and safety should come before a males fetish.
