I'm sick of great principles who actually CARE about students being fired. She cared for our dreams, our hopes. She was a kind adult who did not look down on us because we're children. She respected us so much, and it made all the students respect her in turn. It's INCREDIBKLY difficult to get teenagers to do much, but as far as I know all students at Antonian honestly, truly liked Dr. Mills.
As Samuel Johnson said, "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

I believe as one of the seniors that just graduated I might be heard. In my time at Antonian it has been hard and challenging. Due to the fact that we have gone through 2 principals now the 3rd in four years. It has taken away the ability of the students to go to administration because we have no experience with them. It is I am sure for a good reason why you do the things you do but look at what is best for the community in the short term because the long run does not matter if there is no present.I want what is best for Catholic schooling because my mother worked hard to make sure me and my brother had it. But when I was 2 years old my mom Cynthia ann Toledo passed away. Her dying wish for me and my brother to stay in Catholic education. So this means a lot to me and I strongly urge and hope that it means as much to you as it does to me. because those of us in highschool are still trying to find where we fit in to this great thing we call the Catholic Church but when decisions we don't exactly agree with are acted upon it causes responses like this. And the more this happens the more harm and stress this puts on the community we need a say. In our education and who is in charge of the church at the school because if we can't make these decisions or have an input are we even a part of it. Thank you for your time and I pray for guidance for all during this hard time

She is real nice. I had a meeting with her and we talk about her school and she had some amazing plans for the school. I think you should let her stay because she is a great leader and teacher.

Dear Bishop and community, how has one person given the power make vital decisions that affect staff, students, parents, and the community without surveying each of us a stakeholders and being present often enough at the school to see that Dr. Mills has been nothing but positive for the entire Antonian community been allowed to singlehandedly create such inconsistency to the detriment of a REALLY good school? Who oversees Ms. West? How is her decision to create dysregulation and issues of trust among an entire study body and staff year after year not questioned? Ms. West is also the person who hired each of these principal's and thought they were good enough to hire each time; thus, why isn't the archdiocese questioning the effectiveness of Ms. West and calling for her resignation or retirement? What Ms. West is doing is sabotaging the school, its staff, its students, and the entire Antonian community. What is the hidden agenda? Why is there no transparency?

We moved our son from another Catholic school in the area to Antonian only after meeting with Dr. Ruiz-Mills. In our meeting, her passion for her faith, Catholic schools, education, children, equity, culture, and Antonian was truly felt and heard making our decision to move our son from the opposite of that in his prior school to Antonian. From Antonian's administration, director of admissions, deans, counselors, coaches, health clerk, office staff, and teachers, our son and we as his parents have been so pleased at the positive impact of the leadership of Dr. Ruiz-Mills throughout the school as well as we have with every adult we have encountered in that building. My only regrets in the high school education of my son are that he was not at a school exactly like the one that Antonian has become for his entire high school career and that without divine intervention he will have yet another change for his senior year.
