Denying legit acupuncture session claims from patients whom are paying their premiums

I was a contracted practitioner with ASHN 2015 to 2017 and it resulted in severe financial loss for my business. Their resignation process was long and predatory, requiring me to continue serving their member at their fixed rates during 60 day resignation period and up to a year after it unless I inform ea h member in wiring. I had to hire a lawyer to get me out of that contract. In 2023 they approached me again to get contracted with them because some of their members requested me to join the network. After I explained that I can't accept their low rates, they promised to negotiate better rates with their participating plans and I was told that Kaiser Permanente agreed to pay higher rate and was advised to send them opt-out letter from all other plans that don't pay the rates I requested. I did. There was no acknowledgement of receiving my email with the letter. Now they are claiming I am a contracted practitioner and in network and need to comply with their regulations. I repeatedly requested my negotiated rates to be sent to me in writing along with acknowledgement of my opting out of all pla s and programs that didn't agree to pay those rates. All my requests were ignored. They call repeatedly during my work hours when I don't pick up interrupting my client's sessions and ignoring my requests to keep all communications to email and cease the phone calls. It's a nightmare. I wish I never trusted the ASHN representative who promised me better rates in the first place.

I would like to receive information for any other chiropractic or medical organizations that are uniting against ASH.

They have ruined many practices. Cost of everything has gone up yet what they pay goes down. Not fair.

Very low pay, which cannot guarantee quality care for patients. Low quality administrative. ASHN has only one phone number to cover 7 different specialty. They cannot even provide quality of work since it is already out of their control to do the right job.

ASH is an evil greedy company that needs to be taught a lesson by getting fined out of existence!! The same goes for all insurance companies that collude with ASH to deny medical coverage!!

This company is horrible...they are indeed a monopoly and need to be stopped because our costs have gone up while they pay less and less.

Having to drop Cigna Insurance for my acupuncture patients next week since Cigna now requires we sign the contract with ASH. Had to drop BCBS years ago due to this as well. ASH should be shut down by the Federal Government.

ASH arbitrarily demands an increased and UNPAID workload, not reflected in reimbursement price, while at the same time arbitrarily denying payment for services already rendered as was medically necessary. They're a group of scam artists if ever there were one.

ASH is the WORST. I steer very far away from it. Too much paperwork...and it wastes my time when I can be treating patients and not having a huge delay.

Yes. I am in network with ASH but got credentialed directly through after a big complain through the Texas State insurance commissioner for trying to get in network R.D. offering fee for service reimbursement 40% lower than Medicare and Medicaid and forcing RDs to cap the length of their therapy to 45 min. per visit. ASH must be stopped!
