ASH is a shame in our healthcare system: know the history of it first hand: DC established "professional prostitution" in practice.

41 dollars is the lowest our office accepts and often considers dropping it because it’s so low. It isn’t fair and we struggle because of it.

ASH and CHP pay the lowest and I have to limit the number I see, I can't meet overhead cost with their reimbursement. Out of step with other insurance companies.

We deserve a fair wage for medical services. We provide a hands on healing approach. We do not just spend 12 minutes chatting with a patient. This is work. All of us hold Masters degrees and many Doctoral degrees. We should be able to make a living doing medicine. Quit trying to force us small business people out of business. This monopoly creates a system of turn and burn practices. Then only centers who can afford to turn it into a racket can make a living. It dishonors the medicine as well as the doctor. Fair Pay for Medical Professionals!!

As an acupucnturist the business of ASHP is to monopolize the administration of alternative medicine: Chiropractic and Acupuncture. While maximizing their profit they minimize reimbursement resulting in a ridiculously low wage and lowering of the standard of care for both these professions.

ASH inserts themselves into the process, skins the money, lowers the scope and quality of care and drives away the more established and experienced practitioners, lowering the quality of care unbeknownst to the patients. Unethical on all fronts.

ASH interferes with patient's access to acupuncture and chiropractic care and engages in unfair pricing practices.

Me and my acupuncture business have been financially harmed as a result of these unfair business practices by American Specialty Health which is engaged in price fixing and is acting as a monopoly which is illegal.
