It’s not fair to acupuncturist that ASH control the health insurance payment to pay in-network provider only $42 while out-network provider pay over$200.

How can you demand exams every 4/5 treatments and refuse to pay for it? How can you expect decent care when you make it financially impossible to give your patients the time they need for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Also your people have been failing to do research on a timely manner.

This is a deliberate setting of obstacles for patients who need acupuncture treatment.

Now in California, many of the major insurers are using ASH to process acupuncture claims, forcing practitioners to be in-network with ASH in order to take these insurances: Blue of California, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna & Aetna. ASH's below market rate payment combined with the onerous amount of additional administrative work required for practitioners in their lower tiers, results in payments far below market rate. This monopoly and price fixing results in harm to both patients and practitioners. Patients get reduced quality of care due to the necessity for much shorter appointment times. Practitioners are hurt when they are not paid enough for their services.

Stop monopolize the insurance benefits of acupuncture by a sole management company as a trust.
