Antitrust Lawsuit Acupuncturists/Chiropractors/Doctors vs American Specialty Health Price Fixing

We have been getting hosed by ASH as a profession. They are literally just terrible.

This company's CEO George T. DeVries III is a nightmare.

I appreciate the opportunity, but $41 per visit does not cover the actual cost of providing appropriate acupuncture treatment, so I cannot agree to this reimbursement level.

Compared to 20 years ago, the prices of almost everything have doubled or even tripled, yet the cost of one acupuncture treatment has actually gone down from $52 to $40. Does that make any sense?

We need to get our right & money back!

The patient buys insurance thinking they can have a certain number of acupuncture treatments per year, and this is denied them. Besides the low pay, it also gives the acupuncturist hours of extra work getting authorizations and submitting forms. ASh is an evil greedy scam. People should know that their insurance is not going to cover them despite what it says on their policy

Such a low rate undermines patient access and proper treatment.

Totally agree. Fixed fee for more than 30 years!! This is not right

ASH is not an insurance company and Health institude but ASH has acted to control dr's diagnosis and treatments. Also ASH took out the right of patient which patients can choose treatments. AHS has done illegal activity long time under their policy. The policy is above the law.
