You wouldn't apply your favourite perfume, lipstick, or foundation to your pet puppy or your cat... so why let someone else do it I have recently found out that Cover Girl Cosmetics (made from the company Procter and Gamble) has been testing their products on animals; possibly, in my opinion, one of the most cruel things you could do to an animal. I protest the use of their cosmetic products and am conducting a petition to help spread the word (in Canada) and stop testing on poor, helpless animals. Please help the animals by signing this petition. (Procter and Gamble also are the makers of: Puffs Facial tissues, Crisco Shortening, Tide laundry detergent, Prell Shampoo, Charmin bathroom tissue, crest toothpaste, both Downy and Bounce fabric softener, pampers, Foldgers coffee, Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals, Richardson-Vicks, Noxell, Shulton's Old Spice, Max Factor, Olestra (Olean), Gillette products (divested Gillette's oral-care toothpaste line, Rembrandt), Duracell batteries, Braun, Oral-B (though their SpinBrush toothbrush was sold to Church & Dwight co.) Right Guard and Soft & Dri (Later sold to the Dial Co.),Always feminine care, Ariel, Actonel, Dawn Dish washing detergent, Gain laundry detergent, Head and Shoulders, Iams (Animal food) Olay, Pantene, Pringles, and Wella. Procter and Gamble are also said to be the "52nd-largest corporate producer of air pollution in the United States, with roughly 350,000 pounds of toxic chemicals released annually into the air.") Please note, that not all products made by P&G have been tested on animals, but they do infact test some product on animals. Most appreciated.
