Improving Diversity and Addressing Racism & Biases in BCSC

I am proud to be part of the Brownsburg community, where schools are responsive to issues that will make our students the best they can be. We can do better, BCSC!

One of my daughters met with a group of friend either during or after school to discuss the diversity in background and belief and they would also do critical thinking on different way and ideas to educate others on different situations and how they could be fixed.

Brownsbrug need to hire black/brown teachers...

This shouldn't even need to be petitioned. It should be common practice that the school should have come up with.

Thank you for taking this proactive step to make our community more whole for everyone.

I would like to see more diversity in the faculty and staff at the elementary school level. Kids need leaders who do and don't look like them.

I wish Brownsburg and other Hendricks county schools would follow the lead of Marion County schools and their leadership!

For such a diverse school system, there is a lack of diversity in the high ability program. Please evaluate this program to address selection criteria and testing bias.

Let's get everyone on the same page! No more crud in our schools!

please work on teaching about racism and also urge students who hear others using racial slurs to report immediately.

As a multiracial mother with an interfaith family I would love to see the school embrace a broader perspectives to the growing and changing demographics in Brownsburg schools.
