After it being heavily rumoured manager Daniel Stendel has walked from his position at Oakwell, us fans want answers. Paul Conway and the rest of the board at Oakwell need to shape up or get out. They're clearly after profits and not moving us forward. Fans are worried that he'll drag us into debt and the same trouble we experienced at the begging of the millennium.

Simply embarrassing, you have shown Daniel and the fans huge disrespect , the statement released by the club was appalling on every level. Get a backbone and admit you have messed up and apologise to the fans and Daniel stendel
Sad day for Barnsley football club and town. Lost a great manager and top man. Disgusted with the board for this decision and how it’s been handled, says it all really. Ripping the heart out of this club for profit no morals.
Shocking decision to not back Daniel in the first place, money is all you are interested in, you should all hang your heads in shame. Barnsley people are no pushovers we stand together in crisis and proved that through the miners strike! You have treated us and Daniel like idiots and these young lads who have been brought to the club who we have no issue with will be playing to a virtually empty ground by the end of this season! Conway you are a halfwit and should resign immediately! And to release a statement like that to announce the departure of a fan’s favourite is more awful than our recent results, hang your heads in shame.
Best manager we’ve had for years - someone who really connected with the fans and who “got” us
Managed to get rid of the best manager the club has had in years all because you couldn’t give him some experience

This is not baseball it's football and D Stendel knows alit more about it than board. He was thrown into the deepend with his hands shackled. Best players sold when entering higher league and replaced by youngsters. Board gave him no support even before transfer window closed to get a couple of experienced players in to bring on youngsters. The supporters aren't stupid, they knew this was coming even if board didn't.
