prayers are with his family. How can they sleep at night not knowing what these answers are.

He deserves justice. Stay strong and my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family at this time, even though I don't know him

My heart goes out to you Diane, and the Fredericks family. The hardest part in situations like these is the not knowing and all the burning unanswered questions. From what I have read, it seems after the driver, Jessica, left your son bleeding from his head on the side of the road that would be considered leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily damage. I am baffled as to why the police would let her go after that, especially without the ability to confirm her story, when so many details do not add up to the injuries your son sustained. With so many discrepancies and unanswered questions, it sounds like very shoddy police work at best. The police need to find out exactly what happened to your son. I hope the police re-open this investigation and are able to grant you some closure, or, at the very least, I hope your son’s friend comes forward to offer you some answers. You may be able to get the State Police to take over the investigation, as someone else suggested. I would also like to suggest you list this petition on Change.org as well. It is a widely recognized petition site with many members all over the world to read your story and offer their support. And you can have the petition sent directly to the Chief of Police at Mt. Arlington Police Department.

To make this investigation impartial, Mt. Arlington should step aside and let the State Police take this case. If Mt. Arlington has nothing to hide, they won't mind doing that at all.
