Brian "Announcer Guy" Sweeney is a wholehearted man. He has a gift in the announcing industry, rising from Simley High school Football, to the Minnesota Vixen as well as the University of St Thomas Hockey Team. On top of these organizations Brian Sweeney has also announced for sporting events including soccer, hockey, basketball, dance, football, lacrosse, and watercross. Brian Sweeney's voice brings excitement to event he has worked and would be a great fit as the Gopher Basketball Team's new announcer with the following of Dick's retirement. brian is the man. heard him at a bunch of games and he always keeps the energy up no matter what. u of m needs someone like him.
Brian is my uncle. I know he is a hard worker, a people's champion and will give it his all!
Amazing announcer. I worked with him first hand at a lacrosse game and dance competition.
Really fun guy. My experiences is he not only announces with excitement and makes the game he announcing more entertaining. He take the time to get to know players and the team he announces for. It is easily witnessed that this a a true passion and you won't fall asleep at a game he is announcing.
Brian's passion is announcing. With a degree in radio and television broadcasting from Brown Institute, he is totally equipped for being heard in any capacity!
Brian is a great announcer and it is a lot of fun listening to him!
