Annette Funicello may have made her name in Hollywood, but she was born in Utica, New York. The time has come for the city of Utica to recognize one of its most famous natives and build a memorial in her memory. It could be a statue, a granite or marble monument, a park, or something else. Annette was universally loved and there should definitely be a remembrance of her in her hometown.
