They should never have been allowed to build that development at the end of the road, that was pure greed

Why do councils never listen to the views of the local people who their wrong decisions affect?

We'll see. Personally, I think this is pointless. They will not take any notice.

if we breached planning permission we would be taken to court and made to rectify the problem

once again our pleas to sort the parking out in our road are being ignored by the council as usual.

This parking situation is ridiculous. I am 5 months pregnant and have a 19 month old. I struggle to get parked outside of my property as it is and now they want to extend upto my property. This will make it impossible. We sometimes can't even get parked in our road. When I am tired and trying to juggle a 19 month old as well as bags etc it makes life difficult. Residents are not being considered in the slightest.

It's unbelievable one can not take the car out in the evening as it is, your slot is gone within a twinkle of an eye. What about the rights of the Residents of Anne of Cleves? Even street lightings go out at night if you can't find a space on your street, you'll be walking back in the dark.

Everyone should be able to park on their own road. The parking situation is dreadful enough as it stands, without losing more spaces. This is also a safety issue; I drive to work in London daily, leaving and returning in the dark. I have frequently had no option but to park on a different road so end up walking some distance back to my house.

Everyone should be entitled to a one space per household for parking their car - all new builds cater for this necessity - why should the residents of Anne of Cleves suffer just because they bought their houses many years ago. If new developments are putting restrictions on current residences then the council should have made sure the planners allowed for spaces in the area beore building that one extra house out of greed.

Ive lived for over 23years and the parking is getting worse its more like a car park for people working in the town or getting the train so taking more spaces away will make it worse for the residents

Every time I come to visit a friend in Anne of Cleves Rd the parking spaces are few and far between. Take away 3 more and there will be chaos.

I have lived here for over 20 years and the parking situation continues to worsen. DBC,why are you not listening to your residents?!

the new developement at the railway end of our street,is causing a problem. the developer of the new estate has erected gates at the entrance to the estate, without council approval, and now wants to take 5 of our parking spaces in our street to allow access. we already have enough problems with parking,so,to do this would cause a knock on effect Isuggest the council should make the developer, remove the gates, this would automatically widen the access to the estate.

Its been a joke with anything we suggest.. Numerous times i have emailed the council with ideas as a resident who experiences problems on a day to day basis but they only listen to ideas from council members who live miles away!!!.. Feel its all about money with developing the land and an oversite with the residents parking..25 years i have lived in this road and to my knowlede the rail has only been worked on in the evenings when the restrictions do not apply!!!.. Just another cock up.

Support the decision completely. Have lived here for over 25 years and the council have never ever listened to the residents.
