Hey besties! I am Anjali Malali, a sophomore neuroscience student on the pre-med track. I am an international student from Bangalore, India and I would love your support as an endeavoring student senator!

As a queer, international student in STEM I find myself involved in and a part of multiple niches of community and I believe that will bring a different perspective to senate. I find myself involved in a number of cultural RSOs including acting as a president for the International Student Organization (ISO), a member of the executive team for Women of Color (WOC), and a constant appearance for the South Asian Student Alliance (SASA). As such, I find myself drawn towards working with people and for people, and would love to put myself in a position that can be a voice of certainty for all people, especially the minorities on campus.

In addition, I was also a competing member at the national intercollegiate ethics bowl championship, and am currently a tutor on campus. As such, I believe I have the ability to think critically and put my ideas forth in a straightforward manner. By being on senate, I would love to ensure that inclusion becomes the norm and can be observed in a reliable and sustainable manner.

Thank you so much for reading and signing <3
