My name is Mher Mkrtchian and I am writing for my school community and every animal in the country. I am 14 years old and currently attending Daniel Pearl Magnet High School. I write this letter to you today regarding the problem in our country about kill shelters and other animal cruelty and shelters and other places that kill dogs, cats, and other pets. I was very moved by one video I saw where a cruel people at shelter put dogs in a big container and fill it with carbon monoxide, the dogs cry for help, but sadly the sound of their crying and whimpers slowly go away. That is murder and it is wrong! Yet all around America people running shelters or state shelters use such methods or animal euthanasia. I think that animal euthanasia should be illegal and other methods that kill pets like dogs, cats, horses, and more. Almost my entire school and schools around my school agree that this is a serious matter. I am trying to take action, and most people say that I am too young. But I know for a fact that millions of dogs and cats die for more space. That is sad and wicked. What kind of example is killing animals going to be. please respond to my letter with your approval. Please let the world know about this issue, and please solve this problem. I would love to see a change in the world and in this country, a world and country where animals and people will live peacefully. I do not ever want to hear another dog or cat being killed in this country and neither do millions of Americans. Please take action. Good luck. Thank you for your time.
