The APCP is a an amazing program which helps animals from approved shelters receive spay-neuter surgeries. This program has provided 90,000 sugeries helping millions of unwanted animals from being born into our overcrowded shelters. Eliminating this budget will create over population and an increase in euthanized animals. We do not want the New York State Executive Budget to cut this funding in 2010-2011. The New York State Animal Protection Federation has provided a solution without affecting the proposed state budget- or create new fees or taxes for New Yorkers. It is wrong and inhumane to cut out the Animal Population Control Program! Thank you.
