And how do you propose we test our medicine, vaccines and other important things? And what makes you think it's specifically the "government"?
That's true..but there is also alternative testing methods that can replace the need for harming animals and these new tests are also less expensive.

I strongly believe that animal testing should become a criminal offence. I used to have rats for pets and, although some people do not like them, it would be trrible to see them being tested on in some harmful way. All kinds of animals are tested on and products that test on animals do not have any symbol or comment on the fact that they test on innocent animals!
