Ireland are very close to qualifying for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa. I for one am sick of watching an Irish Team playing poor football with sub standard players especially when there are players available, who are of a better standard to the players on pitch. No disrespect to the players chosen to play, however they just do not cut it at international level. We have a proven footballer in Andy Reid, who is now a much fitter and mobile player as well as standing out out week in week out in the premiership. Surely we need him in there to Qualify, yet no matter what happens he is never selected. The plan is to send this petition to the FAI and maybe just maybe they will broach this subject with TRAP and CO...What ever has happened, let by gones be by gones
