The Trial Period for Android Apps Should Be Extended

The fact that the Android market offers a trial period at all is great, but that said, 24 hours simply isn't enough time to get a feel
for certain types of apps and I suggest that we make a united effort to get the trial period for apps extended. Despite the often relatively low cost of apps many users report that they simply aren't willing to pay for something that they cannot adequately try out.
Ideally developers should be able to set the trial period themselves possibly simply a varying trial period based on the category that the app falls into. For games clearly the current 24 hour period is probably more than enough, but other categories may warrant a several day trial to see how they fit into your device usage.
This change should benefit both the users and developers. The users should have a pretty solid impression of any app within a few days usage and I believe developers would see increased sales as a result as buyers would stop returning apps purely out of uncertainty.
