Hydro one should be broken up and sold off and a new private company should distribute electric. They should also not be allowed to buy foriegb firms that pay outrageous salaries to their staffs.

The annual cost to commute daily on the 407 with a transbonder approaches $10,000.00 per annum (Whitby to Mississauga and return daily 5 days per week)---Noting that Janet Acker and crowd initiated the sale of the 407, the lady is now involved in the advisement on just how to bankrupt the people of Ontario through the sale of Hydro One Assets. The politicians just don't recognize that Ontario Hydro was set up to provide the people and the business folks with Hydro at cost--Government seems no longer concerned about keeping industry in our once great Province nor do they care about the people of Ontario--they just keep spending and increasing public service numbers, wages and benefits and don't have a clue as to how best to run the Province in an efficient manner. It is too bad that our governments are no longer responsible to the people that elected them. No wonder many people have given up and don't vote. I don't think CPP pensions together with OAS pensions will together cover the costs of home electricity and the control is not the Ontario Energy Board as large companies once familiar with the process to increase revenues just keep milking the cow. Unfortunately the cow is now dry and our Premier just doesn't get it. Tom Kearns WWhitby, Ontario

Massive non-payment to Hydro One is what is needed. Stop paying these crooks. Everyone stop paying their bills. All customers stop paying them now.

The idea of selling Hydro One is bad.....please re-think this plan....

lynn & edward loughren

we are opposing the sale of hydro one. once they sell the hydro what do we have left. we hire government to look after the country and they sell us down the river.

Ron Coyne

I concur with the content of this letter. In addition, I am frustrated with the fact that the government that we elected is ignoring the will of the people. Put this matter to a referendum before any more action occurs. Thanks. Ron Coyne

These outrageous bill have to stop why do the taxpayers pay so dearly for hydro we dont even need and have to pay to get rid of it. This mistake is the liberal governments fault maybe we could buy our hydro from quebec as it goes as far as cornwall I believe and leave the government to fix their own mistakes. I dont ask the government to fix mistakes I make or bad decisions. I am thinking we need to all not pay our hydro bills for 6 months or so to make them listen.
