All entering congressman and senators need to have empathy with the United States working classes. As a requirement before entering office each new senator or congressman should live off of minimum wages for one month. This stipend would pay for food, rent, transportation, medical expenses and any other expenses incurred during that month. This would show the people they represent they are really in the trenches and support them.
