I cannot support a high density housing project in this semi-rural area. The project needs to be re-worked or taken elsewhere where more suitable.

As proposed, "The Vintage at Kings Canyon" project could not be more wrong for our community. Consequently, I shall support any effort to keep the area as green and as open as is practical.

Keep it open space! Wasn't Carson City named by USAToday a few years ago as the "Best Travel-Worthy State Capital?" We won in part because of our "excellent historical attractions!" Our open space is one of the things that makes us unique and historically interesting! If Carson City loses one of these last pieces of open space, then we are no more noteworthy than the thousands of other sprawling suburbs in the West.

We would like to see it remain open space; however, if that isn't possible we would prefer a park with walking trails and freedom to breathe and enjoy nature, the beautiful views of the mountains, and retain the "culture" of the west side of CC.

Please keep this as open space. We just bought a home near here and this open space was much of the appeal. Keep the charm of Carson. We don't need to become Reno.

Let's work on creating a park on the west side. We have Mills Park, Fuji Park, and the space at the east end of 5th street. Having a beautiful place for the community to utilize on the west side would be a boon for our city.

I do NOT support the development in its current proposed state as of 04/07/16. I'd rather no development occurred at all, but I'm open to beneficial well thought out ideas for development that are in keeping with the current atmosphere of the area.

I purposely take "the scenic route" every morning, please keep the high density development out. Open spaces like these are what gives the west side of Carson such character.
