ANC Ekurhuleni: Stop Eskom’s Exorbitant Electricity Price Hikes!

As a citizen, I am against of this proposed electricity hikes, I say NO to this proposal

This Increase once approved will make our lives. More and more miserable since some of us we are now unemployed ,how are gonna survive ,it's gonna be tough

Opposing Eskom’s electricity tariffs

As people of Vosloorus we can't expect this Eskom is really really playing games with aware live's we can't even pay it now how are we going to pay what they are coming up with now?

Electricity is expensive,people are not working 36% increase is not affordable I oppose the propose price hike

We as Ekurhuleni municipality citizens can not afford this hike of electricity it's tough we are not working

The cost is too high, we can not afford these eskom tariffs. Tooo way much ,the unemployed , the employed, senior citizens, for everyone. We can not afford.

How are pensioners going to survive with these high rates

I am opposed to the proposed tariffs.

In each and everything the business sector thinks about, they must check cost of leaving first, unemployment rate and not forgetting the damage caused by covid.

It's already too expensive they don't want people to buy it it is already unaffordable

ESCOM must drop its tariffs by 86% to make electricity affordable and that will make many buy electricity instead of doing izunyokanyoka. More money will be generated from the majority instead of a few rands from the overburdened minority workers and pensioners. The economy will also improve.

Eskom electricity hike and less units

Increase of electricity will result to more poverty and cause more interruptions ,illegal connections as unemployment is very high
