I lived at Harbor Lofts for 5 years now and my wife, Michelle, and I have seen traffic on W Center St get worse. Parking is not enforced after 7pm and the weekends so its very difficult to have friends over because they are unable to park close by and the Wells Fargo parking lot is not open to the public after working hours. Action needs to be taken NOW.

Even though it's great that we are getting more business in the area, the parking situation has not been able to keep up with the traffic on the street. I understand that there has been talks of renegotiating the parking structure from Wells Fargo on west center street promenade. If this can be converted to a public parking lot with an entrance and exit on west center street promenade, not only would parking concerns be addressed but it would make the area more inviting for future businesses

One of many issues with traffic congestion at the west end of center street promenade includes drivers attempting 3 point turns to circle for street parking right at Harbor/Center Street Promenade and is very dangerous to those pulling onto the street from Harbor. Most times, this circling is constant and simultaneous to those attempting to parallel park and the street is completely blocked during these times not allowing for any thru traffic.

People often double park, park in the driveway, the loading zone, red zone, and crosswalks. Very annoying as a resident. Parking enforcement isn't around enough to keep people from illegally parking. You could put an officer just between the roundabout and Harbor and easily pay their wage 10 fold.

Good news bad news situation. Good news is that businesses are doing well on center street promenade. Bad news, the traffic and lack of parking is making people do dangerous things (3 pt turns, double parking, blocking driveways, etc) and it is only a matter of time before there is a bad accident.

The entry and exit doors on West Center Street Promenade are often blocked by delivery vehicles and customers of nearby establishments. As the area continues to improve and grow, the parking conditions become more dire. Vehicles are double parking, parking in the middle of the Promenade and generally making conditions unsafe for residents and pedestrians in general.
