I stand with the ArtCenter Faculty Federation and I believe all faculty deserves fair pay, job security, transparency to better both students and teachers environment and education.

We talk about community. We talk about diversity. We talk about paving the way for future creatives and the staff + faculty are the ones making it all possible. I would never want to go back and teach without security, nor fair pay. With all the money students are in debt for to become great and amazing and make the SCHOOL look good, that’s the least that can be done to give back and show that the school actually cares about its faculty. How are students supposed to enjoy class and get the most out of their experience when the faculty have to deal with this? Would hope to see action soon.

ArtCenter's reputation has, is, and will always be built upon the success and drive of the faculty. The union's asks are all attainable and honestly a bare minimum. As an alumni, it's hard to say I'm proud of my alma mater when I know that the people who built up my education aren't having their basic needs met.

I've built lifelong friendships and mentorships through this school. Some of the union members I work with were my professors. I am appalled by their stories of how they have been treated.
