No child or family should duffer from three s treatable but highly complex condition. Oh the stories we could all tell if given the opportunity. It is a heartbreak unlike any other.

To see how PANS/PANDAS has affected a dear friend’s son and her family has been completely devastating. The number of roadblocks and red tape she has gone through to just advocate for her son has been unbelievable. They have been judged and belittled by medical professionals with no financial support from our crippling healthcare and health insurance system. No child nor parent should have to emotionally, mentally, and financially bear these burdens in the “greatest nation in the world”. Please help change this crises and be a pioneer in the next medical shift in this generation.

I think you should include in the letter the fact that some cases of “severe autism with aggression, etc” and quite a lot of eating disorders, are also PANS.

Our son Mason was diagnosed this past June after 6 months of improper care. We pay about $1200 a month for a functional medicine center to work with him as well as the medications and supplements needed for his care.

I have two children that were diagnosed with Pandas and this is definitely something that needs national and worldwide attention. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of out-of-pocket dollars to go towards treatments.

PLEASE HELP. It is an unexpected and horrific journey to have a gifted beautiful child who gets so sick. Thank you for what you do! Please count me in for volunteering to help this caue.

In those integrative placements, parents need to be able to stay unlike most psychiatric placements where they don’t allow parents. The stress on their systems needs to be reduced and when you pull them from the primary caregiver, stress increases.
