AN OPEN LETTER IN SUPPORT OF CONGRESSMAN JIM BANKS’ DEMAND THAT INDIANA UNIVERSITY INVESTIGATE AND COMBAT JEW HATRED

Thank you Congressman Banks.

I have 35 years of experience working in higher education. I have sent numerous students to Indiana University because I believed it was a good match for them. Moving forward based on the incredible inability for the president to stand up and do exactly what she needs to do to respond to safety for all students has made me decide that moving forward I will not recommend Indiana University. I suggest that the president look in the mirror and figure out what kind of president she wishes to be. One that helps there be safety for all students or one that is weak in character and has no right to be the president. I hope she will decide to do what’s right and keep all of her students safe. This is not about the first amendment, this is about hate and intolerance. It is unacceptable. Use your voice use your power and do what is right.
