its really unfair that we are paying full tuition for zoom calls. i cant even practice my instrument properly at home because of the noise complaints. we need some kind of tuition break.

I am a recent graduate of NEC. Of course, we all know going online is annoying and not ideal for everyone. What I am wanting is some real transparency to the students who are on the butt end of the decisions currently in place. Why specifically is a partial refund not possible? What specifically is that money needed for instead? Why would an extra semester not be possible? Answers to these that show real transparency would assuage much of the annoyance from myself and the students I am sure.

what about the international students who are stuck here? we have no jobs and no way to get home. the school needs to step up and help us out.

I don’t really mind not having a graduation ceremony. I was proactive enough to do so my recital in October. Despite this, the other things listed I support. NEC spoils financially compensate us for the loss of our jobs and for the drop in quality of teaching.

MM Vocal Performance concentration in Vocal Pedagogy 2021. As a result of this, I'm losing a major opera performance as well as the opportunity to complete my research in Vocal Pedagogy. I took out significant student loans because I believe in what NEC has to offer–unfortunately, this cannot be supplied over an online medium.

With the transition to online education, the quality of classes will drop significantly. (That's why online courses are cheaper!) Appropriate amount of refund should be made.
