Open letter from European scientists against the war with Ukraine

It is our task to make the social world a better place to live. Let us avoid war and kepp Ukrainian people save.

I am a Russian scientist, and my dream is that Ukraine wins as soon as possible. Because today the Ukrainian people are fighting against Putin's fascism for the freedom of not only Ukraine but also Russia and the whole world.

Stop killing and kidnapping of Ukrainian women and children! Ban the russcist monster from committing horror crimes and genocide!

As we all the supporting UKRAINE. SHOWING THAT IT'S HUMANITY. PLEASE DON'T KEEP YOUR HUMANITY ON PAUSE WHEN IT CAME TO SYRIA , YEMEN , PALESTINE etc. JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR RELIGION . PLEASE PONDER OVER IT.

How can anyone think that dictatorial territorial desires give him the right to destroy the lives of millions? The aggression against the people of Ukraine must end immediately. Let dialogue, diplomacy and peace prevail.

My generation: We were born European, grew up international, learned several foreign languages, traveled the world, lived at home in a foreign country, defeated discrimination, had valuable and genuine friendships all over the world, lived and worked for freedom and fulfillment ... Was all this useless?

Support Ukrainian scientists and students! Support Russian scientists who escape their country, Support civil society forces in Russia who struggle with the barbarian Putin's aggression!

Those Russians who oppose the war are real heroes. My deepest respect for the brave scientists there who sigen this petition.

This war crime should stop now. My deepest respect for the Ukrainian population who fights not only for their but also for Europe's democracy and freedom.

I hope there will be a cease fire - even if it is initially between local commanders - followed by a Russian withdraw. The best way of achieving Russian aims would have been to promote their culture. If Russian culture of today is dominated by intimidation and violence then Ukraine is better off without them despite their common heritage.
