Open letter from European scientists against the war with Ukraine

I support Ukraine and its people. May God give them strength to face evil forces. I strongly condemn Russian aggression and the invasion of Ukraine. They should immediately withdraw from Ukraine and stop the bombing. Russia should pay for all financial loss, and rebuild all buildings it has destroyed. President Putin should be punished for his heinous act of war.

Against this war, not against Russia!

The remarkable strength of unity shown by Ukrainians and the resolve of many to resist obviously was not expected even by a Russian government who should know their neighbours best. Putin's speech at the start of his aggression that disavowed the existence of Ukraine as a nation ('Bolshevik mistakes') seems to have been a catalyst, and also shows that its democracy has grown strong roots in just 30 years.

The Russian government must stop the aggression against Ukraine and to withdraw the troops NOW.

Freedom, peace and independancy for Ukraine. Russian army go home !

Humankind never learn from its errors... unfortunately. Stop the war now!

Humanity has enough problems already and nobody needs people causing other people more suffering.

We all expected rational mind take over and the war wouldn’t start. We were wrong. Now we depend on the rational mind to end this war. Rational mind don’t wait any more!

Putin and his henchmen are the most dangerous criminal gang in the history of human civilization. The world must get rid of them as soon as possible. At any cost.
