Open letter from European scientists against the war with Ukraine

We pray to God the War ends like now !

Scientific ties can help stopping a senseless violence driven by political and economic ambitions.

There is nothing darker and more senseless than war. War is the highest expression of evil and of the madness of those who want it. I wonder why the enormous progress of civilization, after the experience of so many criminal dictators, has not yet found and established, with the approval of the United Nations, means and ways to eliminate in time any dictator before he exercises his boundless madness.

I hope that dialogue and diplomacy will contribute to peace.

Russia has to immediately withdraw all its troops from Ukraine (including Donbas and Crimea)!

No a la guerra, fuera de Ucrania. No a las autocracias donde estén en Europa o en el Caribe, con bombas atómicas o sin ellas. Gobiernan de despalda al pueblo destruyendo personas, culturas y familias.

As so often we saw it coming (2008, 2014) but were indolent.
